Introduction

Token Discovery is a set of enhancements to the KyberSwap token selector that lets you explore tokens directly on the Swap screen. When you open the token selector, KyberSwap shows what is currently happening on the platform - trending activity, newly whitelisted tokens, your favorites, and your imported tokens - so you can browse and choose a token to swap in one place, without leaving KyberSwap to research tokens elsewhere.

Token Discovery is designed as a mirror of on-chain activity, not a set of recommendations. KyberSwap surfaces what is active, popular, or new on the platform; it does not tell you what to trade.

What are the Token Discovery tabs?

Token Discovery organizes tokens into five tabs, each offering a different way to find a token to swap.

Tab	What it shows
All	The full token list with balances - the standard token selector view.
Trending	Tokens with the most on-chain trading activity on KyberSwap for the selected chain.
New	Tokens recently whitelisted on KyberSwap on the selected chain.
Imported	Tokens you have manually imported by contract address.
Favorites	Tokens you have starred to add into your favorites list.

What is the Trending tab?

The Trending tab shows tokens with notable on-chain trading activity on KyberSwap for the chain you have selected, so you can see what is being actively traded on the platform. Trending tokens are selected using a combination of on-chain market signals. For each token, the tab displays its 24-hour price change and its 24-hour trading volume or market cap.

What is the New tab?

The New tab shows tokens recently whitelisted on KyberSwap for the selected chain, listed newest first. Whitelisting means that users can find it by name or symbol without importing its contract address. Each token displays a timestamp badge such as "New" for tokens whitelisted today, or "1D" for one day ago, "2D" for two days ago, and so on, along with its current price and 24-hour price change where available.

What is the Favorites tab?

The Favorites tab shows the tokens you have starred, giving you quick access to the tokens you use most. You can star or unstar tokens to manage this list, and your starred tokens also power the quick-select shortcuts at the top of the selector.

What is the Imported tab?

The Imported tab shows tokens you have manually imported using their contract address, so you can easily return to custom tokens that are not on the standard list.
